“Plantation Drive” organized at Silver Springs on Independence Day
Indore 15 August 2015: Silver Spring fulfilling its commitment towards spreading awareness for environment conservation, greens itself by conducting “Plantation Drive”. Residents of Silver Springs planted saplings in township to promote Eco-Friendly living in the township. Along with the plantation, saplings were also distributed to the residents. Residents seemed very enthusiastic for the event. Also residents free many birds from prison just to have the feeling of Independence Day to every creature.
A notable fact is that since the last four years, the plantation drive has been received by the residents with great enthusiasm and this year, the fun almost doubled. The objective of this plantation drive is not just to bring the residents together but also to act responsibly towards the environment and in-turn help maintain a greener premise for years to come. Such acts by the residents display great concern for the environment and a responsible way to conserve the ecosystem.
Apart from plantation cultural activities by the resident also held in which patriotic songs, fancy dress competition, Plays, Games & fulfilled activities like kite flying competition also held & residents actively participated.
Silver Springs is a township that has exemplified the concept of community living in this part of the country and has made every occasion a memorable one for the residents.
